WELCOME TO TRUCKER TO TRI
For most of my life, I wasn’t an endurance athlete.
I was a truck driver.
Long hours on the road, sitting behind the wheel, not really thinking about things like triathlons, training plans, or finish lines. Fitness wasn’t a priority, and honestly, I never saw myself doing something like an Ironman.
But at some point, something shifted.
What started as just trying to be a little more active turned into setting bigger goals. Now, I’m training for Ironman 70.3 Chattanooga. That still feels a little crazy to say, but it’s real.
This website is where I document that journey.
Not from the perspective of someone who has it all figured out, but from someone learning as they go. The good workouts, the bad days, the gear that works, and the stuff that doesn’t. Everything is real and unfiltered.
The goal isn’t to be perfect. It’s just to keep moving forward.
If you’re someone starting from zero, trying to build better habits, or thinking about doing something that feels out of reach, you’re in the right place.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN
This didn’t start with some big plan.
It started small.
Just trying to move more. Be better. Do something different than what I had been doing for years. No big moment, no perfect starting line. Just small changes stacking up over time.
At some point, those small changes turned into bigger goals.
And somehow, that turned into signing up for Ironman 70.3 Chattanooga.
That part still feels a little unreal.
This site isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about figuring it out as I go. The wins, the struggles, the workouts that go great, and the ones that don’t.
Because this isn’t just about triathlon.
It’s about proving you can change direction, no matter where you’re starting from.
Forward is still a speed.
